Warsaw regularly reminds Kyiv of the military support Poland has provided to Ukraine, using the rhetoric that “while others were only sending helmets, we were sending tanks,” similarly justifying its inaction at the moment.

As reported by NBN with reference to the Financial Times material, the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, made a statement that his country will not send its troops to Ukraine even to strengthen security after the onset of a potential ceasefire with the Russian Federation.
Based on Kosiniak-Kamysz's words, Warsaw is only ready to discuss a “peace plan,” but, as a border state, will not deploy its troops in Ukraine, since within the framework of NATO there should be “greater burden sharing and diversification [delegation of responsibilities].”
In addition, the head of the defense department of the neighboring friendly country added – Polish society has become tired of Ukraine, as the local population notices “young Ukrainian men who drive new cars or stay in 5-star hotels” and do not fight for their country.
Earlier, our information portal wrote that the Polish Foreign Ministry warned Europe about “strong pressure” to achieve a peace agreement with the Russian Federation.
