A large-scale fire broke out in the building of the Russian Airborne Troops hospital in Tula, Russia; footage of the fire is being published online.

The Russian Telegram channel Baza reported that on Monday, January 13, a fire broke out in a military hospital on Sovetskaya Street in the city of Tula – the fire engulfed the top floor of the building and spread to the roof. The fire covered 1,000 square meters, and rescuers are working on the scene.

The media write that the military hospital belongs to the 39th separate medical detachment of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Armed Forces. Footage of the incident is being published online, the NBN publication reports.

At the time the fire started, there were about 200 people in the building. The Russians claim that patients and medical workers were evacuated, and that there were no casualties. According to preliminary information, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the wiring.

As reported, last week in the Rostov region, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy struck a warehouse where the Russians were storing ammunition and reconnaissance drones.
