Head of the city military administration Vasily Chinchik spoke about the situation in Toretsk, reporting on the advance of Russian invaders.

The head of the GVA said on the air of the Espresso TV channel that Russian troops are trying to capture Toretsk as soon as possible and are making every effort to do so. The Russian Armed Forces are striking the city with artillery and mortars, and are also using aircraft to carry out strikes, the NBN publication reports.
Chinchik noted that the occupation forces are superior in numbers, however, despite this, the defenders are giving the Russians a worthy rebuff. The situation on the front line periodically improves and then gets more complicated, but the enemy is gradually advancing every day.
The official said that in Toretsk, most apartment buildings are already under the control of the occupiers. At the same time, in the outskirts of the city, there are private buildings where apartment buildings partially remain – they are still controlled by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
He added that today about 60 residents remain in the village, mostly elderly people.
