Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky reported that on Wednesday, January 15, 25 seriously ill and wounded Ukrainian citizens returned from Russian captivity.

The Ukrainian leader reported that today Ukraine returned another 25 seriously ill, wounded servicemen and civilians from Russian captivity. Among those exchanged on January 15 are defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.

According to the head of state, each of them will receive all the necessary medical care, the NBN publication reports.

The President thanked the United Arab Emirates for facilitating the exchange of prisoners with the terrorist state. The Ukrainian leader recalled that our country strives to bring home all its people and works daily to free every citizen held in the Russian Federation.
