As reported by “NBN” with reference to the material of “Radio Freedom”, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a statement that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which was supposed to begin this morning, January 19, will not happen until the Palestinian Islamist extremist group Hamas publishes a list of hostages it intends to free.

As it became known, Netanyahu's announcement appeared literally an hour before the expected start of the truce. At the same time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) command confirmed that there is no ceasefire, and the military continues attacks in the Gaza Strip.

In particular, in accordance with the directives of the Israeli Prime Minister, Sunday's truce will not be able to enter into force until Hamas leaders fulfill their obligations.

It should be noted that the Hamas terrorist group explained the delay in handing over the list of hostages' names predictably, citing “technical reasons.”
