Today, electricity consumption has increased in the country, the reason is cloudy weather in most regions and a decrease in the efficiency of home solar power plants, as reported by NEC Ukrenergo.

Despite this, the situation in the energy system remains stable, which allows avoiding power outages in the capital and the Kyiv region on Wednesday, January 22, NBN reports.

The company urged Ukrainians not to use several energy-intensive devices at once during the maximum period of electricity consumption from 09:00 to 11:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00. The need for economical electricity consumption remains in connection with repair work at energy facilities damaged by attacks by the occupiers.

Considering possible changes in the situation in the energy system, household consumers in the Kyiv region are urged to follow the messages of the distribution system operator:

Capital – DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids;

Region – DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Grids.

As reported, the State Statistics Service showed how the cost of utilities increased over the past year.
