Power outage schedules in Kyiv and the region: are restrictions predicted for January 23

Power engineers reported whether restrictions on electricity consumption will be introduced in Kiev and the region on January 23.

Due to cloudy weather in most regions of Ukraine and a significant decrease in the productivity of home solar power plants in the country, electricity consumption has increased.

Despite this, NEC Ukrenergo did not predicts power outages in the capital and the Kyiv region on Thursday, January 23, NBN reports.

The situation in the power grid remains stable, however, if its operating mode is disrupted due to a power shortage or violation of maximum power flows, or unacceptable equipment overload, restrictions will be introduced.

Power engineers urge Ukrainians to consume electricity sparingly, especially from 08:00 to 20:00, and not to use several powerful household appliances at the same time during this period. Repair work continues at critical infrastructure facilities damaged by strikes by the Russian Armed Forces.

Up-to-date information on the situation in the power grid for household consumers in the capital is published on the DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids website, for consumers in the region – on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Grids portal.

As reported, the Ministry of Economy predicted how salaries in Ukraine will grow this year.
