As NBN reports with reference to the material of Europa Calcio, Olympiacos forward Roman Yaremchuk could have ended up in the Italian Venezia, but the change of club did not occur due to the wishes of the Ukrainian.

As it became known, the top management of these clubs managed to agree on the transfer of the footballer on loan with the subsequent right to buy, but the striker refused to carry out the transfer. In particular, Roman explained his intentions by the desire to wait for more promising and ambitious offers, or to wait a little until a larger club can buy him out.

At the same time, FC Venezia had to pay 500,000 euros just for the player's loan, and the right to buy out would cost the Italians from 3 to 4 million euros. Also, this Serie A club was planning to replace the 29-year-old Ukrainian Yaremchuk with the Finn Joel Pohjanpalo, who was aiming to take a place in the Palermo squad.
