During the “Ukrainian Breakfast” in Davos, Grenell called the 47th US President the best negotiator who needs to be given a little time. According to him, the American leader intends to put pressure on Kyiv and Moscow to end the hostilities and force them to sit down at the negotiating table.
This was reported by the NBN publication with reference to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
The official believes that the Biden administration's refusal to communicate with the Kremlin dictator is a mistake, since conversations are “a tactic without which it will be impossible to resolve the problem peacefully.”
The Ambassador-at-Large in the White House believes that the Russian-Ukrainian war “is getting worse and is plunging further into chaos,” and the US leader “has inherited a terrible mess” and does not have many good options to stop the hostilities.
Recall that after taking office as US President, Trump explained his promise to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours.
