Taiwanese multinational tech giant AsusTek Computer Inc. plans to release an updated and improved ROG Phone 9 model, assigning the device an additional FE index.

As reported by NBN with reference to the GsmArena material, the design of the Asus ROG Phone 9 FE is similar to the previous version of the ROG Phone 9 Pro, but the “gadget” will be 0.89 centimeters thick and weigh only 225 grams.
In addition, the ROG Phone 9 FE will be able to boast:
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor;
- 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM;
- 256 GB of built-in UFS storage 4.0;
- 6.78-inch FullHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 165 GHz and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, as well as a fingerprint scanner built into the display;
- rear camera unit with 3 sensors (50-megapixel main (Sony IMX890 with OIS), 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 5-megapixel macro) and a front 32-megapixel camera for “selfies”;
- 5,500 mAh battery plus wired charging 65 Watts (wireless option available);
- AirTrigger controls;
- stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and Hi-Res Audio technology;
- Wi-Fi version 7;
- IP68 moisture and dust resistance;
- Android 15 operating system out of the box.
