How NBN reports, citing materials from GizmoChina and FnNews, that the management of the South Korean company Samsung has decided to “freeze” the cost of new products, keeping prices for smartphones at the level of the Galaxy S24.

In particular, the Galaxy S25 with 256 GB “on board” will cost 1,155,000 South Korean won (or 800 US dollars), the S25 Plus — 1,353,000 won (or 940 dollars), and for the S25 Ultra you will need to pay 1,698,400 won (about 1,180 dollars). In this way, the tech giant tried to offset the increased costs of components (screens and microchips) without raising the retail price level for local buyers.

Samsung is expected to take a similar approach to the European market: according to insiders, the base model S25 with 128 GB of storage (internal drive) in the EU will cost around 909 euros, and the version with 256 GB will cost from 969 euros. At the same time, the S25 Plus with 256 Gigabytes will have a price tag of 1,159 euros.
