The British publication Sky News, whose journalists spoke with the military of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, writes that Pyongyang soldiers who are participating in battles on the Russian territory, would rather blow themselves up with grenades than risk being captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, NBN reports.

According to media reports, North Korean troops in the Kursk region have probably temporarily retreated from the front line after suffering heavy losses. Pyongyang's fighters are currently waiting for reinforcements, caring for the wounded, and learning from the mistakes they made during their first clashes with the defenders.

Journalists believe that North Korean soldiers are unaware of the threats from artillery and drones, as evidenced by their infantry assaults in groups of 24, 40, and even 60 fighters, making them easy targets for Ukrainians.

The publication notes that the DPRK military is better equipped than many of the Russian invaders, including uniforms and small arms. In doing so, they always move on foot, and transport ammunition on golf buggies.

North Korean soldiers also take “two-hundredths” and “three-hundredths” from the battlefield to remove evidence of their presence in the combat zone.

As reported, British intelligence has revealed the losses of DPRK fighters on the front in the Kursk region.
