The Russian leader's press secretary commented on the US president's words that he did not discuss the fatal collision of a plane and a helicopter in Washington, which occurred on January 29, with the Kremlin dictator.

Peskov told Russian propagandists that there was no conversation between Putin and the American leader, as a number of media outlets reported the day before, NBN reports with a link to the publication “Kreschatic”.

The corresponding rumors appeared in the media, in particular in the Russian media, after Trump's controversial statement. During the briefing, one of the journalists asked the head of the White House whether he had spoken about the plane crash in the American capital with the leader of the Russians. The 47th President of the United States said that he had not had contact with the dictator, after which he added the phrase: “Not about that.”

It should be noted that earlier in Washington and Moscow they signaled about a telephone conversation between Trump and Putin, which should take place in the near future.

As reported, the head of the White House called Kim Jong-un “a smart guy”, making it clear that he intends to restore relations with the North Korean dictator.
