This morning, energy companies in a number of regions applied emergency power outages due to the deterioration of the situation in the power grid after enemy strikes.

On Monday, February 3, NEC Ukrenergo ordered the introduction of emergency power outage schedules in 9 regions of the country due to strikes on generation facilities and damage to transmission system networks by the occupiers.
Restrictions were introduced in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Poltava, Kirovograd and Zaporizhia regions, and partially in Kyiv, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk regions, the NBN publication writes.
The company also reported that due to the cold weather, electricity consumption has increased in most regions. Ukrainians are urged not to turn on several powerful household appliances at the same time between 07:00 and 22:00 and to consume electricity sparingly in order to reduce the load on the power grid.
The situation with power outages may change, citizens need to follow the messages of their distribution system operator.
It should be noted that earlier, NEC Ukrenergo commented on rumors about the introduction of power outage schedules from February 3.
