NEC Ukrenergo stated that electricity consumption in Ukraine is showing an upward trend due to the cold snap throughout the country. Despite the situation in the energy system, planned power outages for the capital and the Kyiv region are not forecast for Wednesday, February 5, NBN reports.

The company calls on Ukrainians to consume electricity sparingly, in particular, not to use several powerful household appliances at once between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Citizens were reminded that the country's energy system continues to recover from numerous Russian drone and missile attacks.
