As reported by “NBN” with reference to the Sport-Express material, a statement was made by former Inter Miami and Shakhtar Donetsk defender Sergei Krivtsov that he intends to remain in the MLS clubs (Major League Soccer is a professional football league, the top division of the corresponding system in the USA and Canada) for a number of valid reasons.

In particular, Krivtsov responded that the only UPL (Ukrainian Premier League) club to which the domestic legionnaire could return at an unspecified time is Shakhtar, since only the Donetsk team is distinguished by a decent level of organization, similar to Inter Miami. In particular, the defender emphasized:

I don’t want to go any lower, and I don’t want to just go there to finish my football career [in the UPL].

Krivtsov added that his real priority is to stay in the MLS, since “the children are studying here [in the USA],” and it is desirable to quickly find a team, “so that I can fly to them in 3-4 hours.”
