On the night of Monday, March 3, Ufa residents complained on social networks about the sounds of explosions – drones struck a local oil refinery. As a result of the landing, a fire broke out at the enterprise, rescuers were able to localize the fire in a few hours, writes the publication “NBN”.
The head of the CPD said that the Ufa Oil Refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in the aggressor country. The capacity of the enterprise, located in the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, is about 20 million “black gold” per year. In addition, the region is among the top 5 oil refining centers of the Russian Federation in terms of total processing volumes.
Kovalenko specified that the Ufa Oil Refinery produces aviation fuel, diesel fuel and lubricants. This plant is a strategic facility of the Russian Armed Forces, since it provides Putin's occupation forces with the fuel necessary for aircraft, military equipment and automobile transport.
Earlier, the lieutenant spoke about the role of the Ryazan Oil Refinery in providing supplies to the Russian invaders. The enterprise was attacked by UAVs on the night of February 24.
