On Wednesday, March 5, a representative of the Russian Presidential Administration responded to the words of the American leader in the US Congress about the “letter” of the head of Ukraine in a comment to Russian propagandists. Trump said that Zelensky expressed his readiness to sign an agreement with the US on mineral resources and begin negotiations to end the war.
The Russian dictator's spokesman reported that Moscow has a “positive” attitude to this news, while recalling that Ukraine has not yet lifted the ban on negotiations with Russia, NBN writes, citing TASS.
A Kremlin spokesman said that the Russian leadership considers Minsk to be the best location for negotiations, since Belarus is their main ally. However, the possibility of holding a meeting between Trump, Zelensky and Putin in the capital of a neighboring state has not yet been discussed.
Let us recall that the illegitimate President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko invited the head of the White House, the Kremlin dictator and the Ukrainian leader to Minsk, where they will be able to hold negotiations “without noise, without shouting”.
As reported, Washington has named the “best alternative” to introducing peacekeeping troops into Ukraine.
