As NBN reports, citing sources from The Wall Street Journal, a number of American officials believe that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s readiness to establish dialogue may not be enough to resume sending American military aid.

As it became known, unspecified high-ranking American officials are preempting – it is not yet entirely clear whether the above-described conciliatory statement by Zelensky is enough to convince Trump and resume military support for Ukraine, which the White House suspended on Monday, after a conflictual meeting with the leader of our country in the Oval Office.

Sources say Trump will only end the pause in aid to Ukraine if he sees that Zelensky supports peace talks with Russia. Trump's decision could also be influenced by the signing of an agreement to provide American companies with access to Ukrainian rare earth mineral deposits, but it appears that this will not be enough to resume comprehensive support for Ukraine.
