As NBN reports with reference to the material from RBC-Ukraine, the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC) was able to adopt the technology for manufacturing Shahed-type kamikaze drones from the Iranian defense industry, scale it up, and also make design changes to this process.
In particular, during air strikes on Ukraine, Putin's army, in addition to the traditional Shahed/Geran-2, launches a similar version of the UAV – the Harpy-A1, and from time to time, a simplified modification of the Geran-1, not counting drone imitators without a warhead and Gerbers, capable of carrying only a small warhead.
As it became known, the capacities of the Russian military-industrial complex are capable of monthly rolling off the conveyor belt:
- at least 900 Shaheds/Geraniums-2;
- about 1,000 “Parodies” (a lightweight foam version of “Gerbera”);
- approximately 2,000 Harpies and Gerberas (volume ratio 20 percent to 80 percent).
Earlier, our information portal wrote that the situation in the Ukrainian energy system could worsen due to the Russian Federation’s morning attack on the infrastructure.
