As reported by NBN with reference to the official page of Kryvbas, the central defender of the Kryvyi Rih club, Oleksandr Romanchuk, spoke about the reasons that led to a 1-1 draw with Shakhtar.
Based on Romanchuk's words, if you carefully watch the game, you can be a little disappointed – the Kryvbas team was winning at first, having used their defense well, and had every chance to finish the game triumphantly, leaving the goal “dry”.
However, since we are talking about unpredictable football, the Krivoy Rog players relaxed at the wrong time and lost concentration, literally “for one second”, and therefore missed the goal from the “orange-blacks”.
The defender added that it is better to forget this game and move on, since it is necessary to “disassemble” the tactics of the new opponent, and still try to win in the next round:
First of all, I wanted to prove to myself and everyone that we figured it out, analyzed the mistakes. We went out on the field and showed by our actions that we are a team.
