According to NEC Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has increased in the country: on Thursday, March 13, as of 9:30, its level was 1.9% higher than at the same time on Wednesday.
The company explained that the increase in electricity consumption is due to the establishment of cloudy weather in several regions, which reduced the efficiency of home SES, writes the NBN publication.
At the same time, restrictions on electricity consumption are not predicted for Friday, March 14. In particular, consumers in Kyiv and the region will spend the day without power outages.
The NEC reminded that emergency recovery work is being carried out at energy facilities damaged by enemy strikes. For this reason, Ukrainian residents are urged to transfer the use of powerful household appliances to daytime: solar power plants operate most efficiently between 10:00 and 18:00.
Experts noted that such measures will help balance the energy system, reduce the load on it during periods of maximum consumption and avoid power outages.
