As reported by NBN with reference to the material from Le Parisien, the President of France Emmanuel Macron made a statement that European partners are planning to deploy peacekeeping mission units only in several Ukrainian cities.

Based on Macron's words, the allies do not intend to send a large number of troops, since at the moment the largest European army is the Ukrainian one, with 1 million personnel.

So it's just a matter of deploying a few thousand troops in key locations to enable training programs to be implemented while demonstrating a commitment to long-term support for Ukraine.

In particular, a number of scenarios consider the quartering of European troops in Kyiv, Odessa and Lvov, and the opinion of the aggressor country is not taken into account when drawing up such plans, since:

…If it [Ukraine] invites allied troops to its territory, it is not Russia’s business to decide whether to agree or not.

Earlier we wrote that ISW explained the purpose for which Putin accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of committing war crimes in Kursk.
