As NBN reports with reference to the official Facebook page of the editor-in-chief of the CENSOR.NET portal, military journalist Yuriy Butusov, the situation in the Kursk and Sumy directions has undergone critical changes.
Based on Butusov’s words:
- The “second army of the world” did not encircle the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kursk region, but seized the initiative on the front line and enjoys the advantage in infantry, aviation and kamikaze drones, continuing the offensive while the Defense Forces gradually, and with fighting, retreat to the territory of Ukraine;
- The losses in battles suffered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in recent days, including during the retreat, are significant, as is the damage caused to the enemy, who continues frontal attacks;
- The “liberators” are trying to break through the defenses on the flanks of the “Ukrainian bridgehead,” but all such assaults are repelled;
- Putin's troops entered Ukraine in two areas, infiltrating with several small infantry groups, trying to encircle the flanks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but the advance of the occupiers was stopped in the border area;
- There are currently no signs of an intensified enemy offensive on Sumy, but the invaders will try to take control of the border strip.
