On Monday, March 17, as of 9:30, the consumption level was 3.1% higher than at the same time on Friday. Changes in the energy system are associated with a significant cold snap and cloudy weather in most regions, which is why home solar power plants operate less efficiently.

This morning, in all energy sectors, power restrictions were applied to industrial consumers due to the difficult situation in the energy system, NBN reports with reference to NEC Ukrenergo.

There have been no new orders from the NEC to apply stabilization or emergency schedules. Accordingly, no outages are planned for Tuesday, March 18.

Ukrenergo emphasized that the need for economical electricity consumption remains; citizens are asked to limit the use of powerful household appliances from 16:00 to 20:00.

Consumers in the capital and the Kyiv region will be promptly informed about changes in the energy supply situation on the websites:

DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids;

DTEK Kyiv regional power grids.

The same data will be available to residents of the capital in the Kyiv Digital application.

Let us recall that the NBU announced that Ukrainian banks have reduced interest rates on loans to the population.
