As reported by NBN with reference to the analytics of the thematic publication PCGamesHardware, the new GPUs were installed in a PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, an ASRock X870E Taichi motherboard and 32 Gigabytes of DDR5 RAM with a frequency of 6,400 MHz.
The leader of the top 27 was predictably the GeForce RTX 5090 video card from Nvidia, which outpaced its flagship predecessor from the previous line, the GeForce RTX 4090, by 20 percent (second place) and overtook the slightly cut-down GeForce RTX 5080.
Behind the top three is the GeForce RTX 4080 Super (fourth place), only 6 percent faster than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (fifth place).
The most successful “red” AMD video card was the Radeon RX 9070 XT (seventh place), only 5 percent faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XTX (eighth place) and 3 percent slower than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super (sixth place).
Another new product, the Radeon RX 9070, took 10th place in the ranking, as it delivered performance almost identical to the GeForce RTX 5070 (ninth place).
