As NBN reports with reference to analytical material from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), fighting has not ceased in the Demidovka and Popovka area in the Belgorod region in recent days.

According to an unspecified Russian “war correspondent,” the intensity of military actions in the border area of the Belgorod region has decreased somewhat due to the arrival of unfavorable meteorological conditions.

However, taking advantage of the above-described “lull”, the Russian generals transferred part of the forces of the 6th, 20th and 3rd combined arms armies (CAA), which are part of the RF Armed Forces groups “North”, “West” and “South”, to the territory of the Belgorod region.

In particular, units of the 6th OVA were deployed in the Kupyansk direction, the 20th OVA in the Limansk direction, and the 3rd OVA in the Seversk and Kramatorsk directions.

Thus, due to the start of the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive in the Belgorod region, the Russian command is forced to transfer part of its reserves to a new section of the front.
