The Russian leader's negotiator clarified that the Kremlin leader's position regarding Ukraine's membership in the military-political bloc was “widely recognized” by the White House, the NBN publication reports.
The Moscow representative believes that certain security guarantees for the neighboring country “may be acceptable in some form.”
The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund claims that the Russian leader allegedly strives for “long-term peace” in Ukraine and voiced “some conditions” for this.
The official said that reports about the threat of an offensive by the Russian Armed Forces on Europe after the end of the war against Ukraine are “false and fake narratives.” Putin’s envoy added that the US president “knows that this will not happen.”
