On Tuesday, March 5, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry said that until the Ukrainian authorities pass laws that will “return the rights” to the Hungarians in Transcarpathia, negotiations between Orban and Zelensky will not take place, NBN informs.

According to the diplomat, Budapest handed over to Kiev an 11-point document on what decisions the Ukrainian leadership should make in this matter. However, as Szijjártó noted, the response of the authorities of the neighboring state to Hungary’s demands was allegedly “unconstructive.”

Note that on January 29, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry visited Ukraine. After a meeting with his colleague, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba spoke about whether he considers Szijjártó and Orban to be pro-Russian politicians.

The statement by the representative of Kyiv outraged the head of the Hungarian government. The Prime Minister said that Budapest is not interested in the opinions of representatives of other states.
