St. Vincent police said:
The plane took off from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm around 12:11 to St. Lucia as final destination. A few minutes after takeoff, the plane encountered difficulties and plummeted into the ocean.
Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene in their boats to provide assistance.
The bodies of the four passengers were recovered by coast guards and doctors eventually pronounced them dead.
