The first film adaptation of the novel was produced in 1903. It was a silent 12-minute film directed by Cecil Hepworth and Percy Stowe with great respect for the work of Lewis Carroll and a beautiful visualization of the whimsical story.
Despite the poorly preserved copy and missing scenes, the film covers almost all the key points of the story. Here is the beginning, the chase for the white rabbit, Alice’s attempts to get into the beautiful garden behind the door, the scene in the kitchen with the cook and the pig, as well as a conversation with the Cheshire cat and the “mad tea party.”

A film adaptation of Lewis Carroll's work, produced by Disney, has become one of the most famous cartoons ever created. Walt Disney dreamed of creating a story about Alice for many years.
The animated film turned out to be very colorful, with songs that were easy to remember and incredibly realistic characters from Carroll's book. At that time, there were no such technologies as there are now, and in order to accurately depict the facial expressions and movements of the characters, special actors were hired to pose for the artists.
That is why, even after so many years, this film adaptation is considered one of the most successful Walt Disney cartoons, classics in the field of animation, and, of course, the best adaptation of Alice.

The plot of the well-known fairy tale by Lewis Carroll and your favorite actors in Tim Burton’s new project “Alice in Seeland.” According to the director, the Land of See is not at all as fun and bright a place as Carol describes it. This is a gloomy world in which huge toadstools and scary crooked trees grow. Therefore, Barton changed the plot, but left the atmosphere of a children's fairy tale.
In the film, Alice is already 19 years old. By chance she returns to Wonderland, where she was thirteen years ago. She is told that she is the only one who can defeat Zherbelkovt, the dragon under the control of the Red Queen. The film's technique uses a combination of live action and animation.

Ukraine also made its own film adaptation of Alice's surreal adventures, releasing a New Year's musical based on the famous work by Lewis Carroll. One of the episodes was even filmed using Hollywood technology – Motion Control crane operation.
The creative producer and director spoke. The role of Alice was played by Svetlana Tarabarova, the rapper-showman Potap had to get used to the role of the Rabbit, and the singer and TV presenter Alexander Krivoshapko appeared in the film in the image of the Mad Hatter. Showman and TV presenter Dmitry Kolyadenko played the role of the Cheshire Cat.
