Zara returns to Ukraine after a two-year pause due to the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine. Spanish retailer Inditex, which owns the world-famous Zara brand, has announced that its stores will reopen here in early April, writes WomanEL.
As reported by the Financial Times, this happened after lengthy discussions with local landlords. Inditex, which also owns Bershka, Pull & Bear and Stradivarius, plans to reopen about 50 of its more than 80 stores in the country.

This decision was an important step, since Inditex is one of the largest retailers in the world, which is returning to the Ukrainian market. The company enters the market with the safety of both its workers and customers as a priority, as well as a commitment to adapt its plans to current market circumstances.
It is planned that the first stores will be opened in shopping centers in Kyiv. In addition, some Ukrainian employees have already been sent to Poland for training to prepare for work.
This is not the first time that international brands have returned to Ukraine after stopping work due to the invasion. Previously, H&M had already done this, and IKEA was also announced to return. It is expected that this resumption of Zara stores in April 2024 will be an important event for the Ukrainian fashion market and will contribute to the restoration of the country's economy.
