The Jimi Hendrix box set with 38 never-before-seen compositions entitled “Electric Lady Studios: Jimi Hendrix Vision” was released on Friday 13th on five vinyl sets and 3 CDs. The Blu-ray disc contains newly mixed 5.1 audio versions of twenty previously released recordings, reveals WomanEL.
Jimi Hendrix recorded at Electric Lady Studios a few months before his death nor 1970 rock. All tracks, except one, were recorded with drummer Mitch Mitchell and bassist Billy Cox.
“Jimi Hendrix Vision” to coincide with the release of the documentary of the same name, which will premiere on September 9 at the Quad Cinema in Manhattan (New York).
After this film is released at out-of-town rentals at cinemas. The film tells the story of the iconic Hendrix studio – a temporary location created on the site of a newly opened Manhattan nightclub.
