Following the onset of a large-scale Russian invasion, Ukrainian Fashion Week returns to Ukraine, demonstrating resilience and faith. Ukrainian designers will continue to create despite the ruin brought by the Russian war. In order to support the Ukrainian fashion industry and strengthen the voice of Ukraine in the world, the Ukrainian Fashion Week team will hold the 55th season from 1st to 4th spring in Kiev. A very beneficial initiative of all participants of Ukrainian Fashion Week SS25 will be the collection of funds for the palliative care of veterans at the Svyatenko Rehabilitation Clinic. UFW guests can get to the collection by making a donation using the QR code, which will be posted at the locations.
Emotional mirrors of the new reality will have a special space at the main location of UFW SS25. Installation to present the images of Ukrainian fashion brands, which inspired the creative reflection of designers on the calls of our military hero. In a special warehouse in a special space there is a portrait gallery of our colleagues who were deprived of peaceful professions in the industry and went to the front.
Missile attacks, alarm sirens, power outages—these are the desperate screams with which our country lives. However, if we spend more and more money, our authority will be rendered indestructible. More than 50 Ukrainian brands supported our decision to spend this season in Ukraine. We greatly appreciate the solidarity of the global fashion industry, which has helped us survive this challenging time. During the official program of Ukrainian Fashion Week SS25, on the 1st of Spring, the bookstore “Sens on Khreshchatyk” will host the first exhibition of political embellishments in Ukraine, Brave to Live. This project of the Ukrainian jewelry brand LANKA is dedicated to human resilience in the face of war. The exhibition took place at Munich Jewelry Week and Lisbon Jewelry Biennial. Now, in an expanded format, you will become part of Ukrainian Fashion Week and three weeks from 1 to 4 Wednesday.
This season, during the Ukrainian Fashion Week, the illuminating platform School of Art x Craft will be launched, thanks to the support of our technology partner – Lenovo. Dedicated to the topics of Ukrainian fashion and Ukrainian culture in the hour of war, and the hope that the 3rd of Spring will come, from local and international experts, as well as fashion industry leaders pages for discussing food conservation and popularization of our cultural decline.
< p>The Ukrainian Fashion Week SS25 program will have a new format – a trade show, which will feature 15 Ukrainian brands of clothing and accessories this season. From now on, the trade show will become a permanent format of Ukrainian Fashion Week and will expand the number of requested brands. Alina Kachorovska, executive director of the Kacho Group holding and creative director of the Kachorovska brand, initiated the appearance of this format in the Ukrainian Fashion Week. The teams of Ukrainian Fashion Week and Kachorovska are strongly committed to the requests of Ukrainian buyers at UFW SS25.
