The 2024 Paralympic Games have officially started in Paris, reports WomanEL. For the first time in history, the opening ceremony took place not in the stadium, but simply in the sky – on the Champs Elysees and in Zgodi Square, where thousands of spectators gathered. President of the organizing committee Toni Estanga said that the Games are dedicated to inclusion, with some 15% of the world's population suffering from a form of disability.
