The American animated sci-fi drama film “Wild Robot”, based on the same series of books by Peter Brown, recently launched and scored 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, write WomanEL.
Critics praised the episode. In the words of Nate Adams (The Only Critic), the film has become an animated classic.
The cartoon tells about a robot on the Rose Estate (ROZZUM unit 7134, originally voiced by Lupita Nyongo), who is aware of a ship accident. He can make friends with the locals of the island in order to meet his father (or mother).
Having created an animated masterpiece, director Chris Sanders (“Lilo and Stitch”, “How to Tidy up the Dragon”) together with DreamWorks Animation.
With “Wild Robot,” Sanders knows a different way to create visual dissonance, which image obviously penetrates our minds and brings to life the central idea of the film. “It’s hypnotic,” said Big Ebir (New York Magazine).
The cartoon debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. The premiere will take place in Ukrainian cinemas on June 17th. The 27th edition of “Wild Robot” will be shown in the USA, and on the 18th – in Great Britain.
