An artist known not only for his music, but also for creative jokes in other galuzes, Dmytro Monatik, who is from Lutsk, is preparing for an important role in his career – in recognition of the first blessing This year's art exhibition. From 11 to 24 leaf fall in Kiev there will be an exhibition of paintings and art works “The Views”, created in collaboration with the Ukrainian mystical project KOTO, write WomanEL.
This idea is not less than the fact that Monatik is ahead displays his robots, and that it has a beneficial effect – part of the proceeds from the sale of paintings will be directly used to support cultural initiatives in Ukraine.
At the interview for Bestin.ua, Dmytro I remembered how I first took a pencil in my hands, back in childhood, and how painting became for him an intense way of self-expression. Over time, I began to note that painting and music for him are two mutually related worlds.
I started painting a long time ago, even in first grade, when I turned 7 years old. In my life, there were always people I wanted to inherit. Shchodo painting – tse buv Roma Tindik, my friend of childhood. He was an extremely creative person with great barrels, like an artist. We haven’t had a drink for a long time, lest I remember it like that. We drew one for one comic, passed them on, created robots, which we now understand to mean the same thing. At that time it seemed like just a child’s fun

One of the main motives for creating these paintings was the search for peace in the minds of the war. Painting became for Dmitry not just creativity, but a way of meditation.
Now, if I know all the notes, if I can play all the chords correctly, I’ll start doing the painting. And at the same time I feel that very moment of recognition: “Wow, this farb axis works so well…”, “Wow, this penzlik axis is so small”, “And this marker can mark the contours so neatly.” It’s all the same, but on a new level. I feel déjà vu, like the song “LOVE IT rhythm”, but now in a different role. I have my first exhibition in a few days, and, to be honest, I’m already boasting. There's a lot more to come, just before the concert. Because concerts have become my profession and on stage with my gaze I feel like I’m singing. And now I’m worried like before my first concert. We have prepared a lot, and I boast that people do not understand. This is similar to the ear of music. I showed my work to people I trust and love, having felt their faith and love. And, no matter how trivial it may sound, it was so wonderful and I want to share this while it’s still time

The process of preparation before the exhibition has become a reference point for Monatik. And the encouragement of his team and relatives gave him joy. “The Views” is not just a series of paintings, but a whole world that Dmitro created through his mysticism. In his works there are a lot of symbols and characters that form the whole Universe, known only to you. And I ask everyone who presents the exhibition to stay in this world, to study the author’s eyes.
I really want to invite everyone I can to the exhibition for at least three hours in such a difficult time today. I look forward to seeing the people who will come not just for the pictures, but for such necessary and positive feelings and emotions. Those who would like to live with mysticism as if they were a friend – understand it, perhaps, get a piece of it for yourself. You don’t need a lot of liquid, because the stench is ready just to be noticed
by adding the artist.

The exhibition “The Views” is not only a creative experiment by Monatik, but also a beneficial project that reinforces the importance of culture in modern Ukraine. All collected cats will be used to support Ukrainian cultural initiatives, which are so important for the preservation and development of national identity at this time.
