The official Netflix website has published a new trailer for the 2nd season of the popular series “The Squid Game”, which has attracted the attention of millions of viewers around the world, writes WomanEL.
In the new season, viewers will once again meet the main character Song Ki-hoon, known as Player 456. He returns to the deadly game with new, even more dangerous challenges.
The director of the series, Hwang Dong-hyeok, said that the main emphasis of the second season will be on the investigation. Gi-Hoon will try to uncover who is behind the organization of these terrible games and what their true motives are.
The plot will also focus on his desire to stop the game once and for all. This will force the hero to enter a new series of games with other participants. All of them are fighting for the main prize of 45.6 billion won.
According to Netflix, the second season will be released on the platform in late 2024, and the third season will be the last and will be released in 2025.
