Stereo Crush: GOTTHARD return with a new album after a 5-year hiatus

After a five-year hiatus, Swiss band GOTTHARD returns to the stage with a new single “Boom Boom” and the announcement of the upcoming album “Stereo Crush”, writes WomanEL.

This release will be the first after the album “No. 13”, which was released in 2019. It has already caused a wave of interest among fans. Guitarist Leo Leoni spoke about the personal story that inspired the song “Boom Boom”.

I wrote this song when I found out we were expecting a baby. The birth of my son Gabriel changed my life. When I hold him in my arms and see his smile, I feel an incredible amount of love and gratitude. “Boom Boom” is my way of sharing these feelings, – Leo admitted.

“Stereo Crush” was produced by longtime friend Charlie Bauerfeind. His name is well known in the world of rock music thanks to his work with such legendary bands as HELLOWEEN and BLIND GUARDIAN.

This is the band’s first release in the last 5 years, which also demonstrates that the band continues to create while maintaining its identity. Even after the loss of their previous vocalist, Steve Lee, who tragically died in 2010.

The album will be released in March next year. After a long break, GOTTHARD promise to give fans music full of emotions, new sounds and the traditional drive that made the band famous all over the world.

Also get the Christmas vibe from Ed Sheeran: the video for the track “Under The Tree” is already online.
