WomanEL reports that 30-year-old American actress Emma Dumont, known for her role in the film “Oppenheimer”, has come out, confirming her gender identity. Although there was no official statement, she updated her name on her Instagram to “Nick Dumont” and asked to use the pronouns “they/them”.
A representative for Dumont confirmed that the actress identifies as a trans man of non-binary origin. In the movie, Nick will keep his previous name, but in his personal life he asks to use a new one.
The changes became noticeable in the spring, when Dumont began to wear a short hairstyle and changed his style from glamorous to everyday.
Nick Dumont (formerly Emma) began his acting career at the age of 12 in the film “Real Men”. Later, he starred in the television film “Metro” and the series “Ballerina”. The most famous role was the role of Jackie Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's film “Oppenheimer”.
