The central figure is the young producer Jeff, who, due to extraordinary circumstances, is chosen to be responsible for organizing the live broadcast of this tragedy. His moral and professional decisions confront the real threats and challenges that arise against the backdrop of a tense situation.

At the same time, “September 5th” not only explores the personal experiences of the characters, but also focuses on changing media approaches to covering such events. All this determined the further development of journalism and live broadcasts.

The main roles are played by Peter Sarsgaard (“Batman”, “The Lost Daughter”), John Magaro (“The Downside Game”, “Past Lives”) and Ben Chaplin (“The Thin Red Line”, “Cinderella”). The film will premiere in theaters on January 23, 2024.

In February, a biopic about one of the most mysterious writers of the 20th century, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, will be released.
