Don't bind yourself to the rules “like everyone else”
The first rule of happiness Introverts don't give in to pressure. If you don't like loud corporate events or crowded feasts, tell yourself: “This year everything will be different.” The choice is yours…
Celebration “for the soul”
Instead of parties, you can create the perfect atmosphere at home. Decorate the room so that you feel cozy: candles, garlands, a warm blanket and your favorite movie or book. Who said that the festive mood should be measured only by the crowd of people?
Minimum food, maximum pleasure
Forget about mountains of olives. Cook only what you love. No “must-have” dishes or incomprehensible snacks. Pizza, sushi, or even just coffee with a croissant can be your holiday meal, if that's what brings you joy.
Quiet company
If loneliness seems too unbearable, choose the company of your closest person or friend. Introverts know how to appreciate small, cozy gatherings when you don't have to talk about everything at once.
New Year online
Meeting with friends on Zoom is a great option. You can wear pajamas, stay at home, but still greet your loved ones.
Plan for self
Who said that the New Year should be celebrated at midnight? If you like to go to bed at ten in the evening – go ahead! It's your holiday and you have the right to celebrate it however you want.
Introverts deserve great holidays, they're just a little different. Create your own special New Year, where you will be comfortable. After all, silence, coziness and favorite activities are also a festive mood, but without excessive noise.
