Winged Stories: A New Series of Children's Books About Airplanes from Gostomel by Vivat and Antonov

Antonov Airlines, in collaboration with Vivat Publishing House, has created a series of children's books called “Winged Stories.” This unique collaboration brings together stories about planes that took off from the airport in Gostomel two years ago, which was destroyed at the beginning of a full-scale invasion, writes WomanEL.

The series will consist of four books written by famous authors Sasha Dermansky and Irina Lazutkina. The first two stories – “In the Heart of the Plane” and “Big Plans” – are already available for purchase. They tell not only about airplanes, but also about courage, hope, and the power of recovery.

The books were created with the participation of specialists from the Antonov plant, which added credibility and technical accuracy to the stories. The publications are printed in Ukrainian and English so that the stories become accessible to children around the world.

The goal of the project is to support Ukrainian children who have suffered from the war. Part of the proceeds from the sales will be transferred to the charity fund “Together for Ukraine”. The foundation helps orphans, those who have lost their homes or were forced to move due to war.

In addition to the books, the set includes a sticker pack with illustrations of airplanes, which will be a nice addition for young readers. You can purchase “Winged Stories” on the Vivat website.
