Serhiy Prytula criticized Zelensky's “eSupport”: how the money could have been used more effectively

The famous Ukrainian showman and volunteer Serhiy Prytula gave a frank interview as part of the “Conversation” project, in which he expressed his opinion on the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelensky. We are talking about the “e-Support” program. It provides for the provision of one thousand hryvnias to every Ukrainian, which can be spent on paying for Ukrainian goods and services, writes WomanEL.

Prytula criticized the effectiveness of this approach, noting that these funds could have been used more purposefully.

I believe that this money was not used quite adequately. Given the five million internally displaced persons within our country and their enormous needs, it would be worth trying to cover their most urgent needs, the volunteer said.

In Prytula's opinion, it would be much more appropriate to direct these funds to the construction of social housing. He emphasized that such an approach would help provide housing for Ukrainians who lost their homes due to the war, and at the same time would contribute to the restoration of infrastructure.

The “eSupport” program was launched on December 1 by order of President Volodymyr Zelensky. Its goal is to support the country's economy and citizens. However, public opinion on this issue was divided. This situation once again shows how important public dialogue is in the use of state resources, especially in times of war.

Earlier it became known where the government got the money for “Zelensky's thousand”.
