Ukrainian television star Masha Efrosinina published a post on Instagram in which she shared her thoughts on stereotypes about women. In particular, she drew attention to the popularity of the words “strong”, “steadfast” and “steely”. In her opinion, they have become so common that they have lost their true meaning, writes WomanEL.
When I read in articles about “strong Ukrainian women”, I immediately think, how do the authors themselves understand this phenomenon?, – wrote Efrosinina.
The host emphasized that social pressure forces women to hide their emotions, feel shame due to their inability to meet imposed standards and, as a result, experience burnout.
I want to hug each one and say: “My dear, if you only admit it now, then you are stronger than everyone. “And you feel bad because you were strong for too long,” shared Efrosinina.
In her address, she emphasized that Ukrainian women have the right to independently determine their own strength, without adapting to generally accepted standards.
We have the right to be anyone in order to preserve ourselves, — added the TV presenter, urging every woman to remain true to herself and her feelings.
This emotional post caused an active reaction on social networks. Many users supported Efrosinina's thoughts, shared their own stories and thanked her for the timely address.
Earlier, Masha Efrosinina revealed whether she injected herself with Ozempic to lose weight.
