A large-scale photo exhibition dedicated to the heroes of the Crimean Peninsula was opened in Kyiv

On January 21, the Gulliver shopping mall opened a large social photo exhibition dedicated to the personal stories and achievements of prominent Crimeans. The exhibition aims to remind us of the uniqueness of Crimea and its place in the heart of Ukraine, writes WomanEL.

Among the heroes of the exhibition are prominent representatives of the Crimean people who continue to defend Ukrainian values: editor-in-chief of Ukrainska Pravda Sevgil Musayeva, leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev, singer Jamala, director and military officer Akhtem Seitablayev, MP Tamila Tasheva, veteran of the Azov Regiment Asan Isenadzhiev, and others.

The ideological inspiration was the world champion and Olympic medalist Anna Rizatdinova, who also became one of the heroines of the project. The author of the photos is Konstantin Liberov, a famous Ukrainian photographer who, together with his wife Vlada Liberova, documents the war and the heroism of Ukrainians.

I am a Crimean, and always, with any of my sporting or personal achievements, as soon as I got the right to speak, it was important for me to emphasize that I am from Crimea, because I am incredibly proud of it. Since 2014, the peninsula has been under occupation, and I cannot get to my native home, like millions of other Crimeans. This photo exhibition for me is an opportunity to say one more word, one more way to remind that Crimea is Ukraine, and no matter how much time passes, we will all wait for it to the Ukrainian home, Anna Rizatdinova noted.

During the opening, guests had the opportunity to talk with the heroes of the photo exhibition, volunteers, opinion leaders and representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. The event reminded that the struggle for Crimea continues, and the peninsula will forever remain part of Ukraine.

Recently, star cosmetologist Daria Tishchenko presented a project about the strength and beauty of Ukrainian heroines.
