The legendary American film actor, director and producer will appear in the series for the first time. Robert De Niro's debut will take place in the thriller “Zero Day”, which we will see on February 20 on Netflix, writes WomanEL.
The plot centers on former US President George Mullen, who is trying to uncover the truth about a large-scale cyberattack that took thousands of lives. However, during the investigation, he is forced to confront his own past and make a difficult choice.
De Niro said that his character is guided by the principle of honesty.
This is the core of my character in the series. Not to dodge. Not to play games. To be honest about what is happening so that the public knows the truth, — the actor shared.
The directors and screenwriters are Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim. The star cast includes Angela Bassett, Jesse Plemons, Lizzie Kaplan and Connie Britton.
