London-based consulting company Henley & Partners has published an updated ranking of the world's strongest passports – Henley Passport Index 2025, reports WomanEL.
The ranking is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and evaluates 193 UN member states, as well as 6 territories that are not part of the organization (Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, Kosovo, the Palestinian territories and the Vatican). A total of 227 travel destinations were considered.
TOP-10 strongest passports of 2025:
1. Singapore – 195 visa-free destinations.
2. Japan – 193.
3. Finland, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain – 192.
4. Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden – 191.
5. Belgium, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland, United Kingdom – 190.
6. Australia, Greece – 189.
7. Canada, Malta, Poland – 188.
8. Czech Republic, Hungary – 187.
9. Estonia, USA – 186.
10. Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia – 185.
Ukraine, together with Grenada, Panama, Paraguay and Saint Lucia, took 30th place – Ukrainians can travel without a visa to 148 countries around the world.
By the way, when compiling the rating, various visa and entry rules are taken into account, such as visa-free travel, electronic permits, visas on arrival, electronic visas, as well as the ability to visit the country without a passport, etc.
