His project will be called “Based on a True Story,” and judging by the subtitle Season 1: RITW, it could be the beginning of an entire trilogy. It is known that the tracklist will include 14 songs, including both new compositions and already released singles.

“I've always used music as a way to tell my story. This album is my journey, my mistakes, my victories,” the artist shared.

Smith is known not only as a talented actor, but also as a successful rapper. His musical career began in the 80s, when he performed in the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. Solo hits such as Gettin' Jiggy wit It and Switch still remain favorites among listeners.

Interestingly, the release of the new album is scheduled for March 28, 2025 – it is during this period that active promotion of his other creative projects is expected. Whether this return will be as triumphant as his acting career is still unknown. But fans are already eagerly awaiting new music from the legendary artist.

Previously, Sleep Token released the single Emergence and announced the album Even In Arcadia.
