The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is expected to appoint a new Cabinet of Ministers on July 17, one day after the vote on the resignation of the current government, reports the Baltimore Chronicle citing Ukrainska Pravda.
According to insider information, lawmakers are planning to vote on the government’s dismissal on Wednesday, July 16. The appointment of new ministers is scheduled for Thursday, July 17.
On July 14, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed that First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko head the government. She is reportedly being considered as the main candidate for the position of Prime Minister.
As previously reported by Ukrainska Pravda, significant changes in the Cabinet of Ministers are expected in July. If appointed, Svyrydenko is likely to bring three officials closely associated with her into the new government lineup.
